According to a paper published by Nature Science, the contents of many chemical dyes used in industrial dyeing and finishing include carcinogenic substances (approximately 40%) such as phthalates, formaldehyde, and perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) that are harmful to both humans and the environment. This material utilizes waste betel nut cores which are boiled to produce a natural dye free of any chemical additives.
