TPS (Thermoplastic Styrene) is a polystyrene elastomer which is made with SEBS and PP by mixing and granulating. The insole midsole is made with TPS by hot pressing and foaming, which has the characteristics of good elongation, good resilience, UV resistance and vibration resistance. The general foaming agent is diazenedicarboxamide (AC) with lower ammonia gas, and dicumyl peroxide (DCP) with lesser benzene rings is used as cross linking agent, which make the chemical foaming process environmentally friendly by reducing the harmful and odorous gases such as acetophenone, 2-Phenylisopropanol and carboxamide. Therefore, it is in line with the US Restricted Substances List (RSL), and can be smashed for recycle. This material is mostly used in sports shoes midsole and other products.more
