This material mixes pineapple fiber residue and water-based resin and utilizes a coating process to combine it with microfiber non-woven fabric. The addition of agricultural waste pineapple residue can decrease reliance on petroleum resources by 40% and reduce carbon emissions. Water-based resin replaces organic solvents in the manufacturing process and data from papers indicate this decreases volatile organic compounds (VOC) by 11 times, thereby decreasing damage to the environment and humans. It can be applied in products such as packaging materials, shoes, and furniture. more
