This fabric is made from a blend of approximately 50% recycled polyester staple fibre derived from PET bottles, 6% recycled fabric and 44% polyester fibre. The blend is spun into 10s/1 or 20s/1 staple yarn and woven into finished fabric on a shuttle loom. Mechanical recycling technology is used, reducing the use of chemicals and eliminating the need for additional dyeing. This lowers energy consumption and carbon emissions while substantially reducing wastewater generation. The product can be recycled again after use, forming a circular system of resource reuse.
The plain-woven fabric is durable, abrasion-resistant and breathable. It can also be combined with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) under heat and pressure to improve its abrasion resistance and strength. It can be used to manufacture bags, footwear materials and sporting equipment, combining environmental and functional properties. The material has obtained Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and SCS recycled-content certification and was selected as a Top 5 product at the German ISPO Spring/Summer 2026 exhibition.more
