Air-Cooled Blast-Furnace Slag Stone
Air-cooled blast-furnace slag is the air cooled by-product of iron ore, limestone, coke, and welding flux through the liquid iron smelting process. Due to the high temperature melting, it does not contain harmful substance such as Diosin, and has passed the melting-out test according to the regulation of Environmental Protection Administration. After crushing and screening, the slag will be made into aggregate, which can be used as the material of cement, construction filling, and road base. The characteristics of this material include volume stability, potential cementitious, good bearing capacity, shear strength and angle of repose. This material can be applied to non-structural concrete (ditch cover, wave damping block, curb, high pressure brick, permeable brick), and controlled low strength concrete (CLSM), etc. It is also an excellent environmentally friendly material, which reduces the mining of natural sand and gravel to reduce CO2 emissions.
