In recent years, the issue of marine conservation has become more and more important. Abandoned fishing nets have become invisible killers of creatures in the sea. The creatures are easily entangled with fishing nets and the fatality rate is increasing. In order to solve the problem of ghost fishing nets, people are actively trying many methods, such as the development of goods made from recycled fishing nets (skateboards, carpets, shoes...), and the development of biodegradable fishing nets is also one of the solutions. The currently developed biodegradable fishing net is made of Polybutylene succinate (PBS) thermoplastic polymer resin. PBS is a biodegradable aliphatic polyester with great performance comparable to polypropylene (PP). Since PBS can be decomposed into water and carbon dioxide, it has a wide range of applications. At present, the material has been testing for the production of fishing nets to solve the problem of difficult fishing net recycling.
