This carbon pot is made from waste tree branches fired at high temperatures to convert lignin into biochar. Their multi-porous structure enables properties such as water purification and retention. In terms of applications, they can be used as fuel similar to charcoal while larger, coarser pieces of carbon can be used as pots for plants. According to environmental data released in academic papers by Frontiers in Climate, carbonized biomass reduces the chance of carbon elements entering the atmosphere in the form of greenhouse gases allowing it to relatively decrease carbon emissions. more
