Each year, Taiwan’s metal casting heavy industries generate several thousand tons of waste casting sand that is mostly utilized in low strength ready mixed concrete. This material is made with recycled casting sand through processes such as pulverization and screening to produce recycled refractory granules of varying sizes. It can be utilized as material added to refractory mud, refractory bricks, and other refractory materials to replace the use of mined minerals. more
