Pineapple is one of the most abundant economic crops in Taiwan, and the pineapple leaves were used as fertilizer in the past. By processing the pineapple leaves into raw hemp after scraping, washing and sun drying, the good spinnability pineapple fiber can be extracted and blended into texiles. This fabric is blended with 87% nylon, 8% polyester fiber and 5% pineapple composite yarn. It is wear resistant, and has the coolness from pineapple fiber, which can be applied to clothing, bags and shoes fabric. more
