Nylon/Abacell Cloth (BG2126)
Banana is one of the most abundant economic crops in Taiwan, and the banana leaves were used as fertilizer in the past. Cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin are the main chemical composition of banana leaf. Its cellulose content is lower than that of flax and jute, and the content of hemicellulose and lignin is higher, so the banana leaf fiber has slightly lesser luster, softness, elasticity, and spinnability compare with flax and jute. This fabric is blended with 47% Nylon and 53% Abacell fiber (abaca fiber). The banana leaves are made into abacell fiber after scraping, drying, dividing, twisting, and winding. It has the characteristics of wear resistance, anti UV, antibacterial, humidity control, breathable, and deodorant. Applicable for shoes, bags and other clothing products.
