According to Tea Research and Extension Station, Taiwan produces 300,000 tons of tea residues every year. Generally, tea residues contain about 90% moisture, and discarding them may reduce the gross heat of combustion from the incinerator. However, there are various ways to reuse tea residues. By mixing with 10~20% tea residues and wood pulp fibers, it can be made into tea wood pulp paper. The paper can be used on different products according to the design requirements, such as notebooks, packaging boxes, and food packaging materials.
