Oyster Powder Vinyl base SPC snaplock floor plate(MRD-513)

1/

Taiwan generate about 160 thousands of oyster shell waste per year. This SPC snaplock floor plate (MRD-513) is the mix of oyster shell powder and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The floor is layered with wear-resistant layer, printing layer and base layer through the extrusion process. The wear-resistant layer has contained 6% oyster shell powder, which has the characteristics of antibacterial (R>2), wear resistant, and flame resistant. The base material is a snaplock SPC floor made with plasticizer-free rigid PVC and 70% marble scraps powder, and the construction gluing work can be avoided through the special buckle design. As for the harmful element tests, this floor has passed heavy metal-free (ASTM F936), and plasticizer-free (CNS8906/8907). On the safety side, it has also passed flame resistance (CNS fire rating class 1), lightfastness (ASTM F1515-15), and chemical resistance (ASTM F925-13) tests. Parts used for sound insulation are also tested according to the Building Technical Regulations of the Ministry of the Interior, and it is shown that the volume can be reduced by 21dB, which is higher than the standard value of △Lw17dB. This material also has the GREENGUARD gold certification issued by the American GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI). more
