Taiwan generates about 160 thousand oyster shell waste per year. This SPC floor plate (BL2001) is a combination of oyster shell powder and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The floor is layered with a wear-resistant layer, printing layer, and base layer through the extrusion process. The wear-resistant layer has contained 6% oyster shell powder, which has the characteristics of antibacterial (R>2), wear-resistant, and flame resistant. The base material is using the soft PVC with a plasticizer (terephthalates, DOTP) that conforms to EU Reach and China GB/9685 standards and 70% marble scraps powder, which provides the floor's fit and softness. As for the harmful element tests, this floor has passed the heavy metal-free (ASTM F936-17), plasticizer-free(CNS15138-1), and asbestos-free(CNS15546) tests. On the safety side, it has also passed flame resistance (CNS fire rating class I) and slip resistance (CNS8907) tests.more
