Water-based ink is printed on the main substrate of kraft paper, and water-based adhesive is used as a layer between paper, aluminum foil, and PE (lamination structure: kraft paper/ink printing/water-based adhesive/aluminum foil/PE). The process only uses 5% alcohol as a diluent for ink and saves 65% lesser chemical solvents compare to the traditional process, greatly reducing VOC emissions. As far as the user is concerned, no chemicals are left on the package to risk consumers' health by cross-contamination. In terms of waste, due to the low solid content of water-based ink and glue, the residue can be reduced by 25% after the ink and glue are recycled by distillation. Therefore, it was awarded the "Class II Environmental Protection Product Label" by the Environmental Protection Agency for use as food packaging. more
