UNEP estimates that several thousand tons of plastics are dumped into the ocean each year, 20% of which are waste from the fishing industry. Discarded fishing nets floating in the ocean pose a threat to coral and schools of fish while severely endangering marine ecosystems. This material utilizes waste PP fishing nets by complex physical treatment processes such as disassembly, separation, crushing, washing, and pellet forming to convert them into recycled PP pellets. These pellets can undergo processing and forming technologies to transform rPP pellets into various plastic products that further reduce the mining of fossil resources and impact to marine environments. more
