Bio-PET Pellet

1/

This Bio-PET is polymerized from 20% bioethylene glycol (EG) and terephthalic acid (PTA). The EG is a byproduct from refining cane sugar and produced through processes such as fermentation and distillation as a substitute for petroleum materials. According to literature, Bio-PET reduces carbon emissions by approximately 17% compared to petroleum based PETs. This material features the characteristics of injection/bottle blowing grade materials and has an inherent viscosity I.V. value of 0.80 dl/g. In terms of quality, this Bio-PET complies with code 177.1630 of the USFDA’s Code of Federal Regulations allowing broad applications in packaging beverages and foods. more
