Recycle Aluminum Bars

1/

This aluminium material is recovered from the aluminium-foil layer of aluminium-plastic laminated packaging films used for semiconductor wafers. The composite material is first shredded and heated to a temperature at which the plastic melts while the aluminium foil remains solid. Centrifugal separation and screening are then used to separate the plastic from the aluminium. The recovered aluminium foil is subsequently extruded into aluminium bars with a purity of 90%. After further refining, these recycled aluminium bars can be used as feedstock for aluminium-alloy formulations, general structural components, hardware parts and aluminium castings, or as billets for recycled aluminium extrusions. The material is suitable for reuse in a variety of industrial processes. more
