This rPP tape is made from biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film containing 30% DIN EN 15343-certified pre-consumer recycled polypropylene, also known as post-industrial recycled polypropylene (PIR PP). A solvent-free, water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) adhesive is applied to the film through a coating process. In addition to using recycled polypropylene for the film, the tape incorporates a paper core made from recycled paper. Compared with conventional carton-sealing tape, the use of recycled rPP film reduces the carbon footprint by approximately 23%. more
