Sustainable Screw

1/

Due to the screw industry covered in the first phase of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the urgent need for carbon reduction is apparent. To address this challenge, a project has been initiated to guide and stimulate the entire supply chain to engage in carbon knowledge and reduction actions. Through energy-saving diagnostics, a detailed inventory, and improvement measures for electrical equipment will be established to enhance factory management standards. Specific measures include the use of LED lighting to reduce the energy consumption of complex metal halide light, leasing electric forklifts will decrease carbon emissions resulting from diesel accumulation. Improving office energy-efficient equipment also. Such as replacing inefficient motors and enhancing water efficiency, will contribute to establishing a sustainable production foundation for the screw industry. This proactive approach not only meets the requirements of carbon tariffs but also positions the industry advantageously in a competitive market, achieving the goal of sustainable operation. more
