Zhushan is a renowned bamboo processing cluster in Taiwan. In the past, the many scraps produced from processes were used to manufacture joss paper but with recent changes in environmental protection laws and social perspective, the joss paper industry has continued to decline. The now unwanted bamboo scraps create environmental pollution regardless of whether they are accumulated in piles or incinerated. This material utilizes scraps (bamboo segments, pieces) from the production of bamboo skewers and processes such as pulverization and homogenization to produce materials that can be applied in bamboo paper or bamboo pellet fuel. more
