The rise of fast fashion has forced companies in the textile industry to on average generate several tons of waste yarn each year which is mostly stored in warehouses or incinerated. This material is composed of 85% waste PET yarn from factories and 15% recycled rPET and woven into straps, drawstrings, or jacquard fabric labels. Based on general data of raw materials in the textile industry, the use of recycled polyester fiber can reduce carbon emissions by 60-75%. When discarded, this single material is always recycled for further use. more
