Sorona is a fabric made of Poly Trimethylene Terephthalate (PTT) man-made fiber, which is polymerized with 1,3 propylene glycol (PDO) and terephthalic acid (TPA), and then woven into Sorona. This fabric contains 37% of bio-based PDO. According to the reference, plant-based PDO can reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by 40% compared with petroleum-based PDO in production processes. It also has appearance flatness, light fastness, and stronger deformation resistance than general oller blind fabric. more
