Pineapple is one of the most abundant economic crops in Taiwan, and the pineapple leaves were used as fertilizer in the past. By processing the pineapple leaves into raw hemp after scraping, washing and sun drying, the good spinnability pineapple fiber can be extracted out and blended in textiles. This fabric is blended with 75% polyester fiber and 25% pineapple fiber, which has the characteristics of rough texture and wear resistance. Using a high proportion of natural fibers can reduce the chemicals, and it can be applied to outer clothes and shoes. more
