Taiwan generates 160 thousands of waste oyster shells every year. Seawool PET yarn is the polyetser composites of waste oysters shells and PET bottles. It has functions of low conductivity, antistatic, breathable, moisture wicking and antibacterial. Using regenerated polyester can reduce 60~75% of carbon emissions. The cloth can add different yarns such as cotton for various applications. This material is blended with 62% polyester fiber and 38% Seawool PET yarns, which has the characteristics of fast drying and odor control. It is easy to recycle due to its single material, and can be applied to shirts cloth. more
