Pineapple is one of the most abundant economic crops in Taiwan, and the pineapple leaves were used as fertilizer in the past. By processing the pineapple leaves into raw hemp after scraping, washing and sun drying, the good spinnability pineapple fiber can be extracted and blended woven into fabrics. This fabric is blended with 70% cotton, 24% PET yarn and 6% pineapple fiber, which has the characteristics of rough texture and wear resistance. Using a high proportion of natural fibers can reduce the chemicals, and the regenerated polyester pellets can reduce 60-75% of carbon emissions. It can be applied to outer clothing, bags, and shoes. more
