Pig Bile Extract

1/

Pig gallbladders remaining after meat processing are recovered and reused. Through a specialised extraction process, components including bilirubin, bile salts and amino acids are extracted from the gallbladders. Bile salts reduce the surface tension of fats, allowing them to become emulsified and dispersed in water. Pig bile extract can therefore be used in shampoos to help remove oil from the scalp. The extracted amino acids can nourish the scalp and provide nutrients to strengthen the hair roots. more
