Plum-seed Biochar Yarn

1/

Xinyi Township in Nantou County is a major producer of green plums, and the annual production of plum products leaves behind large quantities of plum stones. This material uses biochar-production technology to convert the discarded plum stones into biochar. The plum-stone material is then ground into nanoscale powder and compounded with textile raw materials to produce masterbatch. This masterbatch can be processed into yarn and fabric according to the required textile specifications. Testing has shown that the resulting textiles offer far-infrared properties, negative-ion release and deodorising performance. more
