Ultra-clear polypropylene is a modified polypropylene (PP) material. By controlling its crystalline structure and reducing the size of its spherulites, light transmittance is increased and the high haze caused by the crystalline structure of conventional PP is reduced. Compared with conventional PP, ultra-clear PP offers greater transparency, improved rigidity and anti-fog properties. It can achieve transparency approaching that of PET while retaining the heat resistance, microwave suitability and recyclability of PP. The sheet is suitable for thermoforming and can be used to produce food containers, packaging boxes and other transparent products. It remains transparent and allows the contents to remain visible under refrigerated conditions. Its operating temperature ranges from approximately 4°C to 110°C, making it suitable for refrigerated storage and microwave heating. As its principal component remains polypropylene, the material can enter existing PP recycling systems for recovery and reuse after use. more
