Antibacterial Oyster Shell Polypropylene Masterbatch

1/

There are approximately 160,000 tons of waste oyster shells in Taiwan each year, 22,000 tons of which are causing an environmental impact due to inappropriate processing and piling up in coastal regions; through processes such as removing impurities, are not processed appropriately and are instead piled in coastal regions, high-temperature forging, and grinding, the shells are converted into calcium oxide powder. When mixed with PP, they form an antibacterial oyster shell polypropylene masterbatch containing reactive oxygen species (ROS) that produces good antibacterial effects. Simply add 4-6% into plastic to achieve effects such as anti-bacterial, anti-mold, and odor removal. more
